Garden waste subscriptions for the 2026-27 collection year are now open.

We've frozen the annual fee for 2026/27, so it stays at £49.

There are no discounts if you join part-way through the year.

Collections will start on 1 July 2026 up to 30 June 2027.

You do not need to create a Solihull Council account to sign up for garden waste collections.

Once you’ve subscribed and made your payment, you'll receive a confirmation email.

New permits for 2026/27 will be posted from Monday 11 May 2026. Please allow up to 10 to 15 working days for your permit to arrive.

If you are renewing your subscription, please do not cover your 2025-26 sticker.

You will still need this as proof of your current subscription until the new subscription year starts on 1 July 2026.

This sticker must be placed on the back of your garden waste bin, underneath the handles.

Place it at the kerbside with the sticker clearly visible to collection crews.

Only bins displaying a valid sticker will be emptied.
