Nature of work
The Core Theatre is part of Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council. The venue consists of a 336 seater auditorium, a multi-purpose Studio space and the Courtyard Gallery.
This Privacy notice outlines how the venue uses the data it collects in connection with the use of the Core Theatre as a hirer, promoter, workshop leader or visiting artist to the venue.
Data is collected at point of agreement to use the venue through a hire agreement or a contracted arrangement e.g. visiting artist.
Data is collected and a record is kept linked to the person’s or organisation’s use of the venue. The information is kept on the Artifax Diary booking system. The information will be used to make contact with private individuals, organisations, individuals within those organisations or individuals regarding their use of the venue. This information will include contact information including name, address, telephone number, email address, website address.
If individuals/organisations do not wish to share the means to contact them, the Core Theatre will not be able to enter into an agreement with them for use of the theatre.
Information collected is not shared and is only used in connection with their current or future use of the venue. If individuals have not got a current relationship with the venue and wish their data to be removed from the database they can request for this to happen by the following contact methods:

Information is processed about hirers, performers and exhibitors or their representatives who have entered into a contractual arrangement to use or to appear at the Core Theatre.

Artifax
The venue's diary management software system provider. Information is only shared to support the provision of the diary management system.
How long we will keep your information
Information is kept whilst your history is still live and then will be deleted if the service has not been used in the last ten years.
Transfers Overseas
Information is not transferred overseas.
