For parents and carers with babies up to 6 months old.
Delivered by your health visiting team, this 5-week group is open to new parents with babies aged up to 6 months old.
Open to all new mums to attend with their new baby, they will gain practical support from the health visiting team, as well as meeting other new mums & sharing experiences.
The range of topics covered include:
- yours and your baby’s feelings
- baby’s communication & crying
- developing healthy sleep patterns
- feeding your baby
- play and development
- baby’s childcare
This group is open to all new mums who live in Solihull and have a Solihull GP and to find out what groups are scheduled in your locality, please contact the parenting team via bsmhft.parenting@nhs.net providing your name and address.
Groups would usually take place during the day although for those parents who might struggle to attend, the group is also available as an online course via www.inourplace.co.uk and accessible free of charge using code: APPLEJACKS
