All Solihull libraries close on bank holidays.

Knowle Library - Temporary Closure

To allow for essential roof replacement works to take place, Knowle Library is now closed. We expect to reopen during January 2026.

During the closure, we will be offering a reduced library service at The Knowle British Legion:

On:

  • Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00am to 12:00pm
  • Saturday from 10:00am to 12:30pm

Temporary library closures

Hampton-in-Arden Library will be closed between 14:00 and 17:00 on Friday 12 September 2025 and will reopen on Tuesday 16 September 2025 at 14:00.

Hobs Moat Library will be closed from 10:00 until 13:00 on Saturday 13 September and will reopen on Monday 15 September at 10:00.

You can renew your items by:

  • logging into your Library account with your library card and PIN
  • calling us on 0121 704 6965
  • visiting one of our other Libraries

We do not charge fines but do ask you to return your items for other residents to use.
