We clear litter from public places, such as streets, parks, playgrounds and pedestrian areas, litter on private land is the responsibility of the landowner.
As well as providing and maintaining litter and dog bins, our Litter Blitz Crew provide a rapid response to areas that need urgent attention so that we can keep Solihull clean and tidy.

The offence of leaving litter
Our Environmental Enforcement Officers wearing body cameras and patrolling Solihull town centre can issue on the spot fines of £200 to anyone caught littering. It's a criminal offence to leave, throw down or drop litter, including chewing gum and cigarette butts.

We actively encourage you to take pride in your local area and clean it up either on your own or in a community group.
