Discover the benefits of an apprenticeship at Solihull’s Apprenticeship Show, which returns for the first time since the pandemic.
Visitors to the popular event can speak to employers and training providers from a range of sectors such as construction, creative, law, logistics and health care. Exhibitors include Jaguar Land Rover, NEC Group, Solihull College & University Centre, Taylor Wimpey and West Midlands Police. Most importantly, current apprentices will be there to share their experiences and answer questions.
Organised by Solihull Council, the Apprenticeship Show is part of the Solihull Careers Hub, working with schools and colleges to help every young person to find their best next step.
Solihull Council’s Employment & Skills Team will be on hand to offer support to residents considering an apprenticeship including tips on how to make a strong application.
Councillor Karen Grinsell, Deputy Leader of Solihull Council, said: “We are really excited to be hosting this popular event again and I’d encourage pupils currently in years 10 to 13 to come along with their parents/carers and find out more.
“Studying an apprenticeship is a great alternative to other career pathways as it gives you the opportunity to earn as you learn, whilst also giving you industry experience.”
The event is free to attend and there is no need to book; however, to make the registration process quicker on the day you can pre-register by completing the short online form: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/ApprenticeshipShow/
