LGBT+ History Month is a month-long, annual, celebration and remembrance of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history, which started in the UK, in 2005.
The LGBT+ Rainbow Flag will be flying from the Council House on Monday 1 February 2021 as a mark of respect and to raise awareness of the celebrated month.
LGBT+ History Month focuses on the celebration and recognition of LGBT+ people and culture; past and present. It provides us all with the opportunity to talk about the bigger picture of LGBT+ experience.
What is the theme of LGBT+ History Month 2021?
The theme for LGBT+ History month is Body, Mind and Spirit.
