Just over a week left to make representations on Solihull's Draft Submission Plan

Released:

The deadline to make a representation about the latest version of the Solihull Local Plan is approaching – they can be submitted up to the end of Monday 14 December 2020.

Councillor Andy Mackiewicz, Cabinet Member for Climate Change, Planning & Housing urged those thinking about making a representation to submit them before the deadline: “I really want to see as many representations as possible, so that when we submit the plan I can be confident that the widest range of views are represented.”

Solihull’s Local Plan will guide the development of the borough for the next decade and beyond. It is the basis for future planning decisions as it creates a ‘blueprint’ for when and where major developments should and shouldn’t take place.

The grounds for making a representation can only relate to the soundness and legal compliance of this Draft Submission Plan.

Those wishing to make representations need to visit the Local Plan Review page of the Council website, as at this stage there is a formal method of submitting a representation.

If you have any questions about the Plan, please get in touch via psp@solihull.gov.uk or call 0121 704 8008.
