Sustainable Travel Awareness and Support

The Council has a Sustainable Travel Team who can help your school or college make informed choices when it comes to travelling more sustainably around the borough.

There are a number of opportunities below which you may be interested in.

The Sustainable Travel Team delivers a wide range of free training and lessons to provide students with the skills and knowledge to travel sustainably, and to encourage behaviour change.

School Streets prohibits vehicles from moving into or out of an area near to schools, during restricted times thereby creating a safer and more pleasant environment for the journey to school.

Solihull Council offers a variety of funded Bikeability training to our schools, available for different levels.
