Love Solihull
Love Solihull is an environmental initiative co-ordinated by the Council, supporting members of the local community in making a real difference.
Whether you want to get more active in the community or do your bit at home, school or at work, there is something for everyone.
How you can get involved
Love Solihull can loan litter picking kits stocked with everything needed for a successful litter pick, including bag hoops, gloves, and high-vis vests. Kits are available at various community hubs across the borough.
There are many ways to continue the conversation, including networking with your local community litter-picking group to share tips and work together in your local area, or by taking part in the Great British Spring Clean – a fantastic national initiative which offers a chance to engage with your local environment whilst being part of a larger movement across the UK.
Additionally, you can register to join the Love Solihull volunteer team. This is a great opportunity to obtain a litter picking kit, taking ownership and pride in maintaining your community.
If you are looking for other ways to spend more time in Solihull's parks and green spaces, you can also connect with one of our Friends of Groups. These groups play a role in supporting the maintenance and development of our parks and green spaces through community activities such as litter picking and fundraising.
