Solihull Council has launched its very first podcast series – which aims to help listeners understand what people in Solihull are doing in the fight against climate change and what we can all learn from them
The EHCP replaces the previous legal document which was known as a statement of special educational needs and the learning difficulties assessment (LDA). The EHCP is for children and young people aged 0-25 years with the most complex needs.
We want every school to be accessible and inclusive. Early years settings, post 16 provision and the wider community should also follow this example. The local authority must have an Accessibility Strategy and all school providers must have an Accessibility Plan.
Non-domestic rates, or business rates, collected by local authorities are the way that those who occupy non-domestic property contribute towards the cost of local services.
