Co-production is where service providers work in partnership with other services, young people, families, and carers to ensure they have a positive impact on people people’s lives and are effective in their delivery.
All mainstream schools and colleges are provided with resources that they can use to support those with additional needs, including children and young people with SEN and disabilities
he CLD team are one of the two traded teams of the Specialist Inclusion Support Service (SISS) provided by the local authority in Solihull. As a traded service, schools can choose to buy the services of the CLD team with their delegated funding for children with special educational needs and disabilities. Each subscribing school is allocated a ‘named’ teacher. The school decides on the amount of support they buy from the team.
The Communication and Learning Difficulties (CLD) Team is a team of experienced Specialist Teachers. The team is traded and can be purchased by all Solihull primary, secondary and special schools on an annual subscription basis. Alternatively, we can be bought on an ad-hoc basis.
These toolkits have been produced by the SISS Autism Team to support Solihull schools to further develop their understanding of good Autism practice and the implementation of strategies for pupils with Autism.
